Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Burke and Lois Burke (Watson); her son John McInnes (Leona); and her grandson Liam (Tegan). She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home (53 Stanley St, Blenheim, ON N0P1A0). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In keeping with her love of animals, donations to the Pet & Wildlife Rescue in Chatham would be appreciated by the family.
