She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorne Rumble and Flossie Rumble; her husband Paul Hitchcock; and her siblings, William Rumble (Bill), James Rumble, Jack Rumble, Doreen Rumble, Lorne Rumble and Donnie Rumble.

She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Heathcote; her friend Edward Heathcote; her siblings' children, Billie Wilson (Bob) and Debbie Wardle (late Bob); and her brothers, Wayne Rumble (late Evelyn) and Larry Rumble (Patricia). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Donations made in memory of Marilyn to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
