He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donna Salisbury (Ed), Helen Cyr (Armand), Raymond Allison, Clay Allison and Bill Allison.

He is survived by: his brother Murray Allison; his niece Val Heathcote (Ed); his great-nieces, Michelle Allison, Mickey Clayton (Dan) and Tanya Legroulx; his nephew James Allison Sr.; his great-nephew James Allison Jr.; his friend Margaret Allison (Bill); Randy Pake, Brendan Allison, Mackenzie Shumanski, Julia Clayton and Savannah Calhoun.

Donations made in memory of Ronald to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society Canada would be appreciated by the family.
