In the sacred silence of farewell, Ruth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wellington Hartford and Elnora Hartford. She is survived by: her children, McKenzie (Angela) and McKayla Scott; her grandson Edwin Scott; and her siblings, Deb (Al), Basil and John (Renee). She is also survived by her extended family and many dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Community of Christ (9096 Talbot Trail, Blenheim, ON N0P1A0).
Donations made in memory of Ruth to the War Amps, the March of Dimes or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
