Gladys Slomke-Sterling Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gladys Slomke-Sterling (Blind River, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Gray and Gladys Gray; and her siblings, Fred Gray, Marilyn Kravec, Margaret Newman and Carolyn Gray.

She is survived by: her spouse Blair Sterling; her children, Linda Nyman Johnston (Phil), Fred Nyman (Sloane) and Doug Nyman (Andra Ross); her grandchildren, Matthew Johnston (Missy), Ian Johnston, Cole Nyman, GiGi and Atticus Johnston; her sister-in-law Pat Gray; her stepchildren, Lynn, Stan, Theresa, Brent, Cheryl and Charlene; and the father of her children Ed Nyman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Golden Birches Family Council would be appreciated by the family.
