It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Stewart Dana Sayers (Blind River, Ontario), who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sayers and Christine Sayers. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Sayers (Elizabeth), Don Nigawina, Richard Sayers (Phillis), Sophie Fahrer (Bud), Jean Sayers, Mary Langdon (Bob) and Marsha Stevens; his former wife Roxanne Boulrice; and his niece Roberta Degagne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Menard Funeral Home (72 Lakeside Ave, Blind River, ON P0R1B0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at the Sunset Cemetery (22992 ON-17, Iron Bridge, ON P0R1H0).
