He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Bisson of Wikwemikong and Roy Bisson of M'Chigeeng; his siblings, Clarence Manitowabi (Debbie), Dominic Manitowabi (Peak), Randy Migwans, Theresa Lynn Bisson (Gwagano) and Patricia Bisson; his siblings-in-law, Roland Niganobe, Clifford Niganobe, Esstin Niganobe, Linda Niganobe, Laurie Jacques and Sheila Niganobe; Anita Desbiens and Rita Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Niganobe; his children, Jordan Bisson and Cheyenne Bisson; his siblings, Debra Wemigwans (Martin), Alex Bisson, Brian Bisson (Cindy), Christopher Bisson (Lisa), Mary Lou Fitzgerald and John Timothy Lion; his buddies, Keith Boissoneau, Bruce McGregor, Wayne Southwind and Leroy Bennett; and his daughter Wabano. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mississauga First Nation Sports Complex (43 Park Rd, Blind River, ON P0R1B0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
