He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schellekens and Jean Schellekens; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth and Patrick; his siblings, Brian (Lyne Briand), Francis and Nancy Friese (Dean); and his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Joey, Robert, Jacob and Cameron. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Menard Funeral Home (72 Lakeside Ave, Blind River, ON P0R1B0). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. James the Greater Parish (44 Lakeside Ave, Blind River, ON P0R1B0).
