In the vast expanse of eternity, Casey shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Casey farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anthony VanGrootheest and Harmina VanGrootheest; his children, Jaclyn (Jef) of Belleville, Tony of Bloomfield and Ryan (Paige) of Bloomfield; his grandchild Sullivan; and his siblings, Janet Crosby (Brian) of Cobourg, Ben of Bloomfield and Dorothy VanGrootheest of Toronto. He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (240 Bloomfield Main St, Bloomfield, ON K0K1G0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

If desired, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
