He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley (Welch); his daughter Sharon; his grandson Douglas Finch; and his siblings, Edward Finch and Marie Brooks.
He is survived by: his sons, Alan (Barb) of Port Dover and Rob (Donna) of Welland; and his sister-in-law Ileana Finch of Winnipeg. He is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
