We are sad to announce that, on February 1, 2026 we had to say goodbye to John Middegaal of Blyth, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Mary Anne Vanden Hengel; his parents, Bert Middegaal and Anna Middegaal (Smits); his brother Tony; his sister-in-law Joan Middegaal; his brother Hank Middegaal; and his brothers-in-law, Harry VanMoorsel, John VanHerk, Harry Hak and Ross Daly.

He is survived by: his wife Anne Middegaal (Vanden Hengel); his children, Susan, Andy VanDorp, Diane, Ron Coolman, Judy, Craig Rock, Dave and Amy Middegaal; his grandchildren, Michael (Briallen), Ashley, Jenny (Mike), Deric, Kendra, Devon, Travis, Karly, Amber (Wyatt), Ryan, Ali, James and Zoey; his siblings, Chris Dieser, Helen VanMoorsel, Joanne, Cal Garrow and Maryanne Middegaal; and his siblings-in-law, Dora VanHerk, Catherine Hak, John Vanden Hengel, Bill, Vanden Hengel, Antonette, John Lane, Gerry, Elaine Vanden Hengel, Tony, Mary Vanden Hengel, Rose and Piet Loomans. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to Jessica's House, Exeter would be appreciated by the family.
