She was predeceased by : her husband Arthur Knight; her parents, Robert McCabe and Elva McCabe; her sister June Johnston; and her brother-in-law Bill Johnston.

She is survived by : her children, Cheryl MacLeod (late Robert), Virginia Dale Jamieson (Ron), Deborah Verwey (Casey), Richard Patterson (Darlene), Heather Verwey (John) and Audrey Patterson (Murray Thompson); her grandchildren, Shawn, Jason, Shane, Lexi, Phillip, Sandra, Greg, Jeremy, Richard, Debbie Lynn, Joshua, Alicia, Jessica, Sabrina, Kaitlyn and Tristan; and her siblings, Dorothy Feagan (Gerald), Audrey McCabe (Joanne Castle), Robert McCabe Judy James (Audrey) and Paul McCabe.
