She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Button; her daughters, Brenda Thurston and Donna Patchett (Dave); and her siblings, Roy Minaker, Ward Minaker (Mae), Clifford Minaker, Howard Minaker, Eileen Storms and Audrey Vernoy.
She is survived by: her children, Lance Thurston (Betty), Randy Thurston (Jean) and Cheryl Young (Mike); and her brothers, Angus Minaker (Marilyn) and Bruce Minaker (Audrey). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
