He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Gwendolyn; his parents, Wilfred Maw and Annie Maw; and his siblings, Gladwyn (Harold Learmont), Eleanor (Ralph Broley), Jean (George Kirby), James (Irene Maw), Betty (George Miller), Bernice (James Gowdy) and Bill (Harriet Maw). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
