She was predeceased by : her husband Bill Crawford. She is survived by : her children, Kimberly McGlade (Allan), Russell Dawson (Vivian) and Kevin Dawson (Tammy); her stepdaughter Mary Sue Mitchnick (Bob); her sister Carol Grimmer; and her grandchildren, Leo, Raphael and Kaia.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to MS Canada (https://mscanada.ca), ALS Society of Canada.
