She was predeceased by: her parents, Freda and Armand; her husband Vince Plati; her daughter Teresa D'Agostino; her son-in-law Frank D'Agostino; and her sisters, Margaret Barnes, Jacquie Camier and Marcella Perry.
She is survived by: her brother Maurice Plouffe; her children, Larry (Gina Bacciocchi), Donna Hilsenteger (Dan) and Angela Hay (James); her grandchildren, Vincent Hilsenteger (Cindy Xin), Adrienne Plati, Lewis Hilsenteger (Monica Szklanny), AJ De Marco (Isabel), Alex Plati, Rosellen D'Agostino (Ashley Broderick), David Hay (Gregory Di Marino) and Elizabeth Edmands (Jack); her great grandchildren, William, Lincoln, Claire, Nathan, Sophia, Henry Hilsenteger, Aria De Marco and Penelope Edmands; her nibling Mimmo Plati; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Fabrizio, Cristina and Alessio; her pet April; and her caregivers, Ruby, Rachel, Barbara and Julia.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Egan Funeral Home (203 Queen St S, Bolton, ON L7E2C6). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
