He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Barber and Bernard Barber; his father-in-law George Beattie; and his brother-in-law Peter Chiodo. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Beattie Barber; his brother Norman Barber (Eugenia); his mother-in-law Vera; his sister-in-law Linda; his sibling's children, Patty Gardner (Scott), Peter (Andrea) and Melissa Lannigan (Kyle McClymont); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebecca Pezzimenti (Paul), Lyndsay, Scotty, Mary Grace, Ann Caroline, Peter Joseph, Emily, Matthew and Nicholas; and his friends, Annalise and Heinz Ott.
