He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Acker and Donna Van Acker (Tunks); his father-in-law John; and his son Shannon Van Acker (Danielle). He is survived by : his mother-in-law June Purcell; his wife Peggy Van Acker (Purcell); his child Chantelle Van Acker (Kevin); his grandchildren, Jamee Ellis, Stacy Van Acker, Cody Van Acker and Mackenzee Ellis; his siblings-in-law, JoAnne, Debbie, Wendy (Paul), Patti (Mike), Penny (Derek) and Greg; and his siblings, Rick (Lillian), Rod (Marilyn), Robin, Lorrie and Luanne (Scott). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
