She was predeceased by: her husband Art Long; her great grandchild Jesse Leveille; her parents, Joe Cross and Mona Cross; and her siblings, Phyllis (late Bill McBrayne), Alma Louise (late Don Johnston), Gordon, Ray, Orville and Walter Long (Dorothy).
She is survived by: her children, Gary (Thea), Shirley Gardiner (late Jack), Janette, Ken (Rose), Orville (Margie), Bev Welch (Rick), Donna Barnes (Lonnie) and Rhonda; and her great grandchildren, Allen, David (Sloan), Mark, Anne, Vincent, Catherine Long, Sherrie, Lee Abrantas, Greg, Joelle Long (Caleb), Tara Smith, Madison Long, Brad, Jen Welch, Tracy, Matt Logan, Jess Brown, Alicia, Steve Dotzert, Casey, Hailey Sisson and Guy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Badder Funeral Home (211 Elm St W, Bothwell, ON N0P1C0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Purcell Cemetery (21711 Johnston Line, Wardsville, ON N0L2N0).
