With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ali Dykstra (Bowmanville, Ontario), who passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Aize (Ike); her siblings, Joanne Wind, Diane Oudyk and George Flim; and her parents-in-law, Albert Hosmar, Cam Linnell, Lamkje Vanginhoven, Foekje, Jan Lentink, Fritz, Sjoukje Dykstra, Jans, Wolter Gastelaars and Rein Dykstra.

She is survived by : her children, Alex, Jeannette (Rob) and Lorraine (Jeff); her grandchildren, Howard (Elaine), Jay, Ryan (Jen), Renee, Jordan and Ainsley; her siblings, Berta Hosmar, Jenny Linnell and Henk Flim (Flora); and her parents-in-law, Frederick Wind, Pete Vanginhoven and Anne Flim. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.

A burial was held on Wednesday, January 6th 2021 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bowmanville Cemetery (1325 Haines St, Clarington, ON L0B).

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to World Renew or Lakeridge Health Palliative Care.
