He was predeceased by : his parents, Tjeerd Strikwerda and Akka Strikwerda. He is survived by : his spouse Henny Strikwerda; his children, Ted (Deb), Cyndie (Don), Brenda, Dory and John (Diana); his grandchildren, Andrea (Adam), Darrin, Benjamin, Esther (Jesse), Ethan, Bethany (Danish), Luke, Emily, Julia, Hannah, Beau, Elliot, Jonah and Owen; and his siblings, Jean, Evelyn, Liz, Richard, Hans, Fred and Phil. He is also survived by the oldest of 8 siblings.
