We announce the death of Averil Betty Haass (Bowmanville, Ontario), who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 89. Averil will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her significant other Henry. She is survived by: her children, John (Petra) and Marilyn (George Muizelaar); her grandchildren, Margaret, Heather (Monty Das), Dustin Haass, Nicholas Haass (Caitlyn), Traci (Jeremy Louws), Adele Muizelaar, Shaelyn Muizelaar (Nic Ruelland) and Jesse Muizelaar (Diana); and her great grandchildren, Kaia, Ellis, Callum, Merryn, Everett, Aaron and Chloe.
