She was predeceased by: her husband Ken Nicks; her children, Teresa Jensen and Peter Tighe; the father of her children Gary Tighe; and her siblings, Betty Jones (Tom) and Jim Watt.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Lisa Nicks (Rodney) and Erin Lowe (Brad); her grandchildren, Pamela Jensen, Laurie Tighe, Lynette Tighe (Justin), Rachel (Nathan) and Zachary; her great grandchildren, Aiden and Asa; her brother Robert Watt (Nancy); her sibling's children, Susan Freeman (Doug), Erica St. Pierre (Jason) and Rennie Watt (Tracey); her great-nieces, Nicole, Natalie, Robin and Kaia; her great-nephew Ryker; and her daughters, Vera and Carol.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home (53 Division St, Bowmanville, ON L1C2Z8). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
