She was predeceased by : her parents, George Piper and Helen Piper; and her sisters, Joan and Faye. She is survived by : her children, Justin (Sara) and Ryan (Bobbie); her grandchildren, Ben (Brittney), Poppy, Scout, Remy and Ruby; her siblings, Larry Piper (Virginia) and Dale Sturrock (Don); her brother-in-law Kelvin Jones; and her pets, Annie and Homer. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation or Durham Region Humane Society.

“I am so sorry to hear about Carolyne's death. Quite a shock! I spent a lot of time with her at Navotney's barn as well at her growing up home. i have so many happy memories! I will always picture her at Lindsay Fair coming down the track so impressively riding on Rocky (he was just like a rocking horse). She sure loved her horses. Larry and Dale : I have always considered "Pipers " as my family. Take care Love Joy”
