He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Lane and Blanche Lane; his brothers, Rev. Ron Lane (Catherine) and Glen Lane; and his son Brett Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Giselle Lane; his daughter Liana; his son-in-law Ed De Sousa (Bernadette); his grandchildren, Jessie (Justin), Emmy (Daniel), Maddie and Jojo (Shayline); his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Kali, Calder and Hazel; and his brother Gordon Lane (Sheila). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home (53 Division St, Bowmanville, ON L1C2Z8). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM at the Portly Piper (57 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1H8W7).
