Edward James Denny Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward James Denny (Bowmanville, Ontario), who passed away on November 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; and his sisters, Catherine Martyn and Christina Edgar. He is survived by: his children, Joseph (Sue), Jamie (Debra), Victoria Lailey (Grant) and Catherine Garacci (Mike); his grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Jarah Lailey (Mikayla), James Masson, Jennifer, Noelle Bogdan (Dale), Justin (Ashley), Christina Garacci (Josh), Nicholas Garacci (Jaime), Blaize, Jacob, Dash, Madeline, Spencer, Hannah, Maxx, Margo, Henry, Tatum, Riley, Wade and Leo; and his friend Shirley Black. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Anglican Church (11 Temperance St, Bowmanville, ON L1C3A3). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
