With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Forward (Bowmanville, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on September 22, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Forward; her parents, Hilda Whipp and Albert Whipp; and her siblings, Pauline Skinner, Douglas Whipp, Ronald Whipp (Joyce) and Margaret Hunt (Jack).
She is survived by: her brother Robert Whipp (Carol); her sister-in-law Joyce Whipp; her godchildren, Eric Hunt, Bruce Hunt (Barb) and Stacey Hunt; and her close friend Kathy Chatterton. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home (53 Division St, Bowmanville, ON L1C2Z8). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St, North York, ON M2R1Y6).
