He was predeceased by: his son Dennis (Helen). He is survived by: his wife Magda; his children, Lisa (Henk) and David (Rose); his grandchildren, Christopher (Samantha), Timothy (Daniel), Nicholas, Victoria (Alan), Madeline (Mikael) and Naomi; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Leah, Laura, Mason, Jordyn, Grace and Alexander.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home (53 Division St, Bowmanville, ON L1C2Z8). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (127 Liberty St S, Bowmanville, ON L1C2P5). A reception will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (127 Liberty St S, Bowmanville, ON L1C2P5).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Marigold Hospice in memory of John.
