She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her brother Earl (Ruth). She is survived by: her children, Doug Bird (Faye), Linda Thornton (late Lance) and Patty Battle (Marc); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Rachel, Amy, Ashley (Mike), Candice and Dylan; her great grandchildren, Bryce, Emma, Kamryn, Gabriel, Sophia and Belle; and her niece Barbara Osmond.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Paul's United Church.
