She was predeceased by: her parents, Bart Verhulst and Maria Verhulst; her husband Peter Isert; and her brothers, Rino (Gerrie) and Ton (Eva).
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie (Vladimir) and Tanya (Neil); her grandchildren, Erika (Christopher) and Sebastian; her sister-in-law Gerrie; her nephews, Monty (Roseanne), Randy (Diane) and Jeff (Cheri); and her cousins, Adrie (Robert) and Elly.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home (53 Division St, Bowmanville, ON L1C2Z8). A reception will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer Society, or Lakeridge Health Foundation, in memory of Karina Isert.
