He is survived by: his children, Gerhard Diefenbach (Della), Brigitte Paul (Klaus) and Axel Diefenbach (Christel); and his sibling Willi Dienfenbach of Germany. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
