He is survived by: his children, Bernice Hogan (Alan), Michael MacDonald (Maureen Whaley), Ann Marie MacDonald, Margaret Rohmann (Udo), Jo-Anne MacDonald, Bernie MacDonald (Natalie O'Rourke) and John MacDonald (Kim Mai-MacDonald); his siblings, Irene LaFort, Catherine MacLellan and Gloria Youden; and his sibling-in-law Cecelia Grace.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Daughters of St. Mary of Leuca - St. Therese.
