She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Vince Prout; her children, Tim Prout (Janice) and Sally Falls (Gary); her grandchildren, Kim (Kelly), Nick (Angie), Tim (Ashley), Josh (Sheelah) and Tyler (Becky); and her great grandchildren, Samantha, Tyler, Cameron, Kai, Jaxson, Georgie and Thea. She was also cherished by her nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.
