He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Vaneyk and Jacobine Vaneyk; his sisters, Agnes DeMille (Harold) and Mary Penwarden (Charlie); and his daughter Dawn Vaneyk (Tim Lehman).
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Bessie); his children, Paul Jan (Angela), Blair (Marilyn), Blain (Cathy), Ellen, Darryl and Gary (Sylvia); his grandchildren, Andrew (Sonya), Emily (Paolo), Blaise, Elisha (James), Madison, Isaac (Michelle), Austin, Lauren, Levi, Devon, Ellie (Cameron) and Evelyn; his great grandchildren, Holden, Daxton, Ivy, Knox, Layne, Thea and Jasper; and his brother John (late Jacqueline Rosevear). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his cousins.
