He was predeceased by: his son Jim (Audry); his grandson Brandon; and his siblings, Lous Pols (Simon), Annie Kroondijk (late Ijsbrand), Hennie Smit (late Bill), Tina Stienstra (Jan), Klass Snyder (late Trudy) and Herman Snyder (Cory).
He is survived by: his wife Annie; his children, Harvey (Yvonne) and Betty (John); his grandchildren, Melissa (Devin), Matt, Kelsey (Matt), Erin (Andrew), Laura (Lucas), Luke (Jenna), Rebecca (Asher) and Justin; and his siblings, Tettje Muizelaar (late Hienze) and Riekele Snyder (late Anna). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Sickkids Hospital or Knox Christian School, Bowmanville.
