With sadness, we share the passing of Robert Joseph Schumacher (Bowmanville, Ontario). Robert, born on January 2, 1945 in Walkerton, Ontario, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline; and his parents, Joseph and Dorothy. He is survived by: his children, Carrie Richardson (Chris), Craig (Jennifer) and Caryn Sabine (Craig); his grandchildren, Emma, Lila, Danika, Zachary, Reid and Miller; and his siblings, JoAnne Grubb (Marvin), Cathy Vanderlee (late Andy), Garry (Judy) and Paul (Nancy). He is also survived by his extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home (53 Division St, Bowmanville, ON L1C2Z8). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (127 Liberty St S, Bowmanville, ON L1C2P5).
