Robert Douglas Watson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Douglas Watson (Bowmanville, Ontario), who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Watson and George Watson; his siblings, Mary Phipps and Cameron Watson; his daughter Karen Watson (Jerry); his stepson Chris Hardy; and his grandson Noah Hardy.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Nora Hardy; his daughter Barb Watson (Gary Williams); his stepson Doug Hardy (Melissa); his grandchildren, Eddie, Jacob, Julie, Ella and Declan; his great grandchildren, Jayda, Elayna and Hunter; and his sisters, Dawn McCombe and Ann Masten. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Bob's memory.
