He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Sonny" Cox and Margaret Wyman Brazier; his stepfather Edward Brazier; his wife Brenda; W. Garth "Butch" Brazier.
He is survived by: his brother Melvin Cox (Doreen) of North Bay; his children, Nancy Godfrey (Patrick) and Dr. David Cox (Elizabeth) of Bracebridge; his grandchildren, Dr. Shannon Godfrey (Julian Cook), Caroline Cox, Andrew Cox (Simryn) and Daniel Cox (Regan Chatten); his great grandchildren, Arthur and Luca Cox; and his nephew Geoffrey Best.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Rotary Centre (131 Wellington St, Bracebridge, ON P1L1C4).
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to Hospice Muskoka (Andy's House) and/or the Rotary Club of Bracebridge Charitable Trust.
