He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doreen; his children, Phylis, Rory, Tom (Michelle) and Bernie "Boo"; and his grandchildren, Chrysta, Steve, Kerrie, Nikolas, Emilee and Hannah. He was also cherished by his great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Reynolds Funeral Home (1 Mary St, Bracebridge, ON P1L2B6). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendrier St. Joseph's Catholic Church (118 McMurray St, Bracebridge, ON P1L1R8). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendrier St Joseph Catholic Cemetery (660 Manitoba St, Bracebridge, ON P1L1W9). A reception will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendrier Reynolds Funeral Home - Turner Chapel (1 Mary St, Bracebridge, ON P1L2B6).
