She was predeceased by: her sisters, Geraldine Hitchcock (Paul), Betty Bowes (Al) and Sherry McVittie (Don); and her in-laws, Evelyn (Doug) and Violet.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Nelson, Stephen Nelson (late Kelley) and Sherry Lee Major (Mark); her grandchildren, Alex Nelson, Nicole Nelson (Darren), Ryan Nelson, Kaitlyn Nelson and Jacob Major; her sister Lynda Coad (late Paul); her husband Howard; and her son Howard.
