She was predeceased by: her husband Eric Adair; and her siblings, Irwin Brown, Mildred Butcher, Fay Stonehouse and Arlie Toms.

She is survived by: her daughter Janice Alderdice (Keith); her grandsons, Jim Newell and Jeremy Newell; her great grandchild Dean Newell; and her niece Sandra Jackson.
