He was predeceased by: his parents, Lew DeForest and Hazel DeForest (Northrup); his granddaughter Chelsea; and his brother Charles DeForest (Theresa). He is survived by: his wife Gwen DeForest; his children, John DeForest and Suzanne DeForest (Dean Phoenix); his grandchildren, Daniel (Kathlyn), Cody, Jason and Heather; his great grandchildren, Sadie and Luke; and his sister Beth Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
