He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Shantz and Idella Shantz of Kitchener, ON.; his sister-in-law Beverley; and his brother Murray (Gwen). He is survived by: his wife Gayle Mitchell; and his brothers, Howard (Barbara) and Dale (Sharon). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
