He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edward and Amy Rose; and his siblings, Edward (Venetta), Gilbert, Albert (Joan) and Violet (Jack).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Dan (Ann), Rosemary (Rod), Leslie (Don) and Sarah (Ken); his grandchildren, Ginny (Jay), Megan, Cliff (Sara), Philip, Jacob and Jack; and his siblings-in-law, Tom (late Alice) and Roberta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In George's memory, donations may be made to Winchester District Hospital, the Barrie Food Bank or to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie.
