He was predeceased by: his wife Jane; his son Dave Horlings (Monica); his siblings, George Horlings (Audrey), Anita Sikma (late Joe), Ken Horlings (Joan) and Rick Horlings (Eleanor); and his siblings-in-law, Johanna Verkaik (late Anthony), Jean Meyer (late Hank) and Brian Maan (Joanne).
He is survived by: his children, Ray (Michele) and Veronica Habenschuss (Ron); his grandchildren, Kyle (Carolyn), Justin (Brittany), Cait (Carl), Tyler (Victoria), Ryan (Riley), Crystal, Holly and Victoria; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Gwendolen, Deacon, Emmeline, Arie and Evelyn; and his sister-in-law Irene Verkaik.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skwarchuk Funeral Home (30 Simcoe Rd, Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON L3Z2A9). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sovereign Grace Church (Aka Springdale Christian Reformed Church) (1466 5th Side Rd, Bradford, ON L3Z2A6).
