Joe will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Joe by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Joe is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Joe’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sheila; his son Matthew; his grandsons, Landon and Oliver; his parents, Joe Silveira and Maria Silveira; and his sister Filomena. He was also cherished by his uncle, aunts and cousins.
Memorial funeral mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 2 p.m. In Joe's memory, donations may be made to the Helping Hand Food Bank, Bradford and Matthews House Hospice, Alliston.
