We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2024, John Silveira (Bradford, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by : his wife Maria; his children, Harold Silveira (Michelle) and Nancy Boyd (George); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Justin, Jasmine, Cole and Keeley; and his sister Maria Cabral.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skwarchuk Funeral Home (30 Simcoe Rd, Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON L3Z2A9). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Japan Church (167 Essa St, Bradford, ON L3Z2V3).

In John's memory, donations may be made to The Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County.

John had a big heart and was always ready to help anyone in a moments notice. We had many chats over the years, he was greatly missed when he moved. The stone patio John built for us is a nice reminder of what a great neighbour, friend & hard worker he was. Sending prayers to all his family during this difficult time.
