He is survived by: his children, Michelle and Michael; the mother of his children Linda Kushner; his daughter-in-law Charlene; his granddaughter Lexi; and his siblings, Gavan Durkin (Cheryl) and Oona Durkin-Thomas (Kelly). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Martin's memory may be made to Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, whose care and compassion meant so much to our family, or to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake, whose doctors and nurses provided dedicated care throughout his illness and for whom he held the deepest respect and gratitude.
