He was predeceased by : his wife Elizabeth "Judy" MacLean; his siblings, Lindsay, Norman, Harvey, Donald, Mable Walsh, Elizabeth Hughes, Margaret McGregor and Florence Flumerfelt; and his parents, Alexander MacLean and Sarah MacLean.

He is survived by : his children, Cathy Scharff (Greg) of Braeside and Leslie Toner (Greg) of Braeside.
