She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Marie Williams-Dennis, Janice Williams and Junior Williams; her grandchildren, Kiya, Zahna, Alliyyah, Makeda, Mekhi, Aaron, Jaylen, Sarah and Zoe; her parents, Kathleen Scott and Harold Whyte; her grandparents, Leigh and Estella Soley; her husband Edward Lewis; her siblings, Nelceta, Derrick and Andy; her great grandchild Nyla-Skye; her sisters, Juliette Church, Birdie and Gwen; and her uncle George Barrett. She was also cherished by her many nieces and nephews.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic building restrictions, visitation and service for Avanel will be private.
